As always, narrowing down the images submitted this past week has been a challenge.
Out of Service.......blackmutt
The low vantage point, snow covered trees and gray sky all worked together to call to mind the silence that I associate with freshly fallen snow. I imagine that old green truck has a lifetime of stories associated with it.

Opposite of the image above, this image evokes the promise of a new day and all the potential it holds for each of us. I especially liked the golden glow hitting the tops of the trees.

Inside the Cemetery Gate.....PeteB
With an almost three-dimensional feel, I can picture walking through this old cemetery. I especially like how the foreground stones lead us to the pink door of the church in the background.

As soon as I saw The Rhythm of Flight, I knew it would be hard to find an image that would knock it off the pedestal I immediately placed it on! The light is beautiful! The sense of motion created by both the birds and the background used for the water immediately grabbed my attention. I love the energy this image conveys.
