Thanks for the theme Sepiana and dennis9! Here's the water in the Willamette River this morning. 14-stop ND filter, f5.6, iso 160, 2 minute exposure. As a water bonus, it was pouring rain but the long exposure blurred that part out.

O is for Oregon. The University of Oregon mascot is a duck and here's a store to get all of your requisite Oregon Duck paraphernalia. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

License plate numbers from a '56 Chevy that was on the lot this morning. I can put up with the rain because it's Oregon, and I understand the dealer marketing on the license plate frame, but whoever installed the license plate bracket off-center should have to write "Measure twice, cut once" on the board 100 times. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Toys?? Now where is a grown man supposed to find toys? I had no idea so I asked Mr Bill to round up a couple pals and go shopping. Looking like a somewhat twisted version of Dorothy with the Wizard of Oz gang, it seemed to be going well until the goblin insisted on a replica of the Empire State Building and threw it in the cart. Nobody wanted to mess with him, so here we have it. Thanks for picking the theme Sepiana, and for hosting the challenge as always.

R is for Railroad tracks, and for being Really aware of your surroundings when shooting around them. Thanks Sepiana for the excuse to go to the industrial area this morning.

Not the oldest, but older. Chrysler New Yorker ca. 1952-53. Thanks for the theme Sepiana.

I'll start off with a tin of soup from the cupboard. Then some fresh Dungeness crab from the farmers market this morning. And finish the trio with a cup of coffee. All photos shot this week for the theme. Fuji X100V, B/W in-camera, contrast tweaks in ACR. Thanks for the theme Tony. I'm still hungry, so there may be another one to follow. ;-)

I'm off to try it again for 2024. No themes, just a commitment to myself to try to find a reasonably good photo to make every day. Your dedication and style of photos are an inspiration Bill. Just awesome. Will have a look at them all tomorrow. Thank you. Clive Thanks Clive.

Checked my phone while we were out today so grabbed a couple of pictures at dinner. Should be a fun and different challenge. Black and white conversion with NIK SE 6 That looks delicious Helen!

Are you happy with SmugMug? It's not particularly cheap but looks good and I'm thinking of storing a few of my favourites online, just to give me more "purpose" and end product, but not with the intention of selling. Thanks for the kind words Howard. I'm quite happy with Smugmug. Their service is good, the site is customizable to your taste, and I agree that it makes my photos look good. They have various pricing levels, so it can be a little less expensive if you don't care to manage your sales / pricing. If you're interested in trying it, here's a link for a 20% first year discount. secure.smugmug.com/signup?Coupon=fXtljEKHhaNtA Thanks again for the nice comment.

Had often thought of it but think mine would be pretty boring as I don't get out and about all that much anymore. Maybe 365 images from my windows....LOL! ..... or maybe different ways to capture the light and shadows from those windows. The differences between north windows and east windows (or whatever.) Maybe try a couple days and if you're having fun with it keep on going. Sorry, don't mean to push. ;-)
