Helen, these are a two of the photos I got when we had a massive wind storm a couple of years back.....The force of the storm tossed logs from the ocean onto the shore like they were toothpicks!

I have Flickr Pro and honestly, since I upgraded I have had significantly fewer views/comments then I had before. Not sure about other people's experience. I don't have any ads though and the community is excellent.

I like this much better! You might want to fine tune the branches on the left (or not).
It's crazy how much snow we don't have! Our temps seem to stay around -2 at night to +6 in the day. There is a skiff of snow, making hiking icy, but in town it is mostly gone. What are you up to that is keeping you so busy?

Clive....to clarify, are you trying to achieve the abstract look your cousin had, or are you going for a realistic look? There is a difference as your aspens need an impressionist, tall thinner cast to them to achieve an abstract effect. If a realistic look, I like the first try better than the second, but would suggest that if a subject is backlit, some of the backlit glow would show on it?
As Tom said, this is a very intriguing problem.

Very nice images! JPix support got back to me.
You need to go under "Edge" or "Chrome" (your browser) and the download section will have an option to allow the file or not. Once you allow it then the .cr will change to the real installer.
...I installed the software to my Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 folder under plug-ins (or so I thought). When I checked the JPix folder had not actually moved under the plug-ins folder, so I moved it manually. It worked beautifully as a plug-in within Elements after that.

Hey there Tom. This looks interesting so I tried to download it but was unsuccessful. I've sent a note to JixiPix support, hoping they can help me. When I used the windows download...I got this message 'Spectral art setup.exe isn’t commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust Spectral Art setup.exe before you…..' When I opened the download folder it said ‘unconfirmed 452391.cr download' and if I clicked on that it asked for an app to open it with. I have Elements 2024, but was afraid to click on it in case there was a virus. ...and weirdly, when I closed out of everything and went back to my download folder, there was nothing there.
I'll keep you posted as to what their support says.
