Billiejean - you say you can double click the effect to apply it, but that never seems to work for me although that would be the way I would expect the style to work. I've found I needed to drag it over to the text in my workspace. I'm relearning effects - I had totally forgotten they existed. Glad to see this subject discussed. Double clicking is hit or miss for me in PSE 14.

Additional Questions Bridge linking into Photoshop Elements 13 In Windows when I double click on a photo, within Bridge, Windows Photo Viewer opens up & shows photo... Has anyone any suggestions how I can link them together? Change the default picture viewer in Windows. Windows 10 example

Same problem here. I don't have the Costco version.
I've had the problem with the brushes not re-sizing (short cut keys [ and ]) with many versions of Elements. A new problem with Elements 14 shortcuts is duplicating a layer (Crtl J) not working at times. Resetting Preferences does not permanently fix the problem. It's frustrating.

Is there a way to tell if you are running a 32 bit or 64 bit version? Under Settings, System, About you will see what version you are running. Settings is found in the Start Menu above the Power selection.

oldenmeade, you need to update to Windows 10, 64 bit version to use all 8 gbs of memory. You have the 32 bit version of Win 10. That's why you only see 3.5 gbs of memory.

The another long way to Stamp Visible (the way I used too do it.):
1) Select all. 2) Edit menu - Copy Merged (or Shift+Ctrl+C) 3) Paste
