Have you tried a Windows search for "Photoshop Elements"?

Ha. Just like me to click the two links that don't work, and not the one that does.
Thanks.

Unfortunately, the raised-effect texture files that were offered with that tutorial are no longer available.

This technique has been around for a long time but it's worth a reminder:
It's happened to all of us. You're zoomed way in on a photo working on some detail - but you're losing sight of what's happening with the big picture (as it were) because you can't see the whole photo.
No problem. Just go to the View menu and choose New Window (it will probably say New Window for [your photo's file name]). Voila. Now you can see both images at once, and any change you make in one will be reflected in the other.
IMPORTANT: For this to work, you must, in the General Preferences settings, have a check mark next to Allow Floating Documents in Expert Mode.

I believe Charles is referring to a scanner built into his printer.
Charles, are you saying that when you click on WIA Support you do not see your printer listed?

Hmm, haven't found any such good deals here for us Canadians; the best I could find was CAD$89.99 for PSE 14 at Staples. Yeah, we're being left out in the cold (so to speak). Not fair!

$39.95 at Costco. Unfortunately, just in the US operation.

Frosty looks a bit lonely. I'm sure the creative minds here can help out.

Thanks for the kinds words, whippet.
As for uploading photos, you should take a look at our FAQs section. There are 5 or 6 items dealing with different methods. Look for threads whose titles start with "Photo sharing".

As a side note, there is no need to flatten the layers before saving as a jpg. The process of saving as a jpg will flatten them automatically.
