I tried it on my own features and, although I'm not thrilled with the 'natural' me, I was definitely not thrilled after I'd made some adjustments. (And it doesn't get rid of the wrinkles!)

Thanks for the recommendation Peterj. Everything is working the way I want it at the moment. I think it needed me to either close down PSE or even close down the computer before the instructions 'stuck'. Whatever the reason all is right with my world again.

Thanks Moto - I hadn't noticed the Perspective crop - I was going to suggest adding height to the picture so that the top of the tree stays visible then clone the sky to fill in the blanks. But your way is much better.

I've always used Organizer and downloaded photos straight to it. I've just updated to PSE15 and it is insisting on downloading to a dated sub-folder even though I've got 'None' highlighted against 'Create sub-folder(s)'. I have my own system of folders for my photos and they are saved in monthly folders not daily folders.
Also although I told it to download, verify and delete originals on my camera card - the download window just sat there, didn't delete originals and there was no way I could close down the window until I forced a close through Task Manager. The photos were still sitting on my card which I can delete in the camera but that's not the point - I want to continue with the old routine.
Any ideas please?

Sorry - I've found out how to do it (always the same as soon as I give up searching and resort to asking!). File > Manage Catalogue > Convert

I've got two catalogues in Elements 13. One of them was found when I installed Elements 15 but not the other one. How do I tell Elements 15 to find and convert it please?

I've just checked and apparently have the Anniversary update and the latest update. We had no problems in updating both computers and haven't noticed any bugs.
What we did notice is that Microsoft has again turned off automatic system restore which we had to reinstate: Control Panel>System & Security>System>System Protection>Configure>Turn on system protection I cannot understand why it isn't automatically turned on as it has been invaluable in the past.

Thanks for the explanation Sepiana - I'd never worked out what the different uses were, especially Perspective. Another bit of info which needs to be kept safe for future reference.

Wow! such a prompt response and I now have three methods to try. Thanks so much Major Major and Sepiana, I just knew I'd find out what to do on here. Now I'm off to try each method out to see which one works for me.

I have taken a photo of a row of buildings, the ones nearest the camera fall forwards and the ones furthest away fall backwards. I have tried using image>transform>distort to make them stand upright. I get the right hand side upright, but when I adjust the lefthand side the righthand side moves too. I'm sure there is a way to stop this happening, but I can't remember what to do. Searching on Editor Help comes up with nothing useful.

Thanks so much Sepiana. I've been trying to do this for a newsletter I produce and have never been happy with the results. This is just what I need, now I can play to my heart's content.

Thank you Moto. I'll do that then - after I've done a full backup of course.

I wondered about that Sargenta but chickened out in case it deleted the actual Pictures folder where, of course, all my photos live. I tried pointing it to a folder which has nothing in it but it didn't believe me.
