Congratulations Helen on a beautiful rendition. Good show to all who were mentioned.
An aside to Pauline: Actually it was a pale blue and almost cloudless sky the day I took that photo of the barn. I did some playing with the B&W hue saturation sliders in Lightroom to darken the sky and add some specific contrast to other hues as well. I do have some local photos of some stormy weather that I may revisit for this week's contest.

Okay, that's only the Dehaze presets. I bought the whole package, and at that time it was the only way you could get the Dehaze. Actually, although I've picked up a few others in the past, these are the only presets I've ever used extensively. They are great time savers for me - no regrets about paying full price for them.

As you have LRCC you have the full functional dehaze with adjustable slider to apply the effect as you wish. The licenced standalone LR6 version does not have the dehaze option but the Prolost website offers some dehaze presets to offset that so that you can apply a dehaze effect in various graduations to suit and works very well. As the Prolost presets are free there would be no harm in downloading them to give them a try. The Prolost set wasn't free. I paid $49.95 for them.

Thank-you for the tip....It didn't seem to help.... I shall continue my research.. I just tried it and it didn't help me either. It hasn't been a problem because I always use the same protocol anyway. If I had to change it, I can still go into Preferences and change the external editing for bit depth and file format. Since I only send to Elements, there is no reason to change anything.

At last - I feel that I have arrived home. I am so pleased I lost Elements, otherwise I would not have found you. I am full of cold and it is pouring with rain. So - an indoor shot. This is only temporary, mum . . . honest. LOL. Great interpretation!

Finally got to play with the Dehaze presets that were included with the Prolost preset package. I was waiting until they fixed 6.2 (I have the stand alone) to upgrade from 6.01, so.... It's pretty cool how well that works. With the presets, the slider that you get with CC becomes irrelevant. Just move through until you get the filtering that works best. Quick and easy. For a landscape photographer who doesn't always hit the "Golden Hour", this alone was worth the cost.

Great job all. Sepiana, great composition of a scenic which doesn't have a standout point of interest. I'm a landscape guy and I've been there searching for that perfect spot in a scene where it's difficult to find a specific subject, but I want to save the overall beauty of the location.
I loved Blackmutt's Veteran's Day composition - very moving.

I served during the war, but never shipped to Viet Nam. I lost some good friends who weren't so lucky. Spending time here 15 years ago was one of the more moving experiences in my life. I felt it an appropriate post for Veteran's Day.

Great job by all. I was, as always, thankful to get a mention. Great job Micki for the photo of what I'm sure is a much loved member of the family ( I know our Miley certainly is).

Maybe a touch late, but here are a couple of moments in time, captured during our school's playoff game yesterday. They are undefeated at 10-0 so far, through the regular season and two rounds in to the playoffs. First one I call The Catch: The second one is titled The Fumble (they got the ball back two plays later with an interception):
