Helen Thanks for judging, for your thoughtful comments, and for including my picture among such masterful images. Congratulations to Christell, Tom and Blackmutt, and especially to Simone for her beautiful images and imaginative presentation. Sadly, my visits to Alberta have been few and short, but maybe one day I will experience one of those sunrises. agg

Jackie Thanks for taking on the task this week, and for including my owl. The selections are especially impressive. As for Preeb's well-deserved I.o.W.--wouldn't I just love to be on that beach right now, instead of being in the midst of some typical Vancouver winter rain! AGG

Thanks, Helen. I'm very pleased to have my picture chosen as a runner-up. Congratulations to the makers of the other images, and especially to Tom for his well-deserved I.o.W. As for Sr Moment's "munching deer"--I'm envious that you got so close, and such a great capture. Worth the honking horns! Angela

On the whole, I'm happy with the site, although I do agree with the comments regarding the order in which new gallery posts appear. I would like to thank the moderators for their work in maintaining a successful and useful site, and the other participants for being so unfailingly helpful and supportive. I seem to learn something every time I visit! Angela

Not sure why Major Major would think that an uninstaller wouldn't work on a Mac--in my experience, it does. However, for applications that don't have an uninstaller, Mac users can always try App cleaner (free). It's easy to use and seeks out all the bits and pieces that hide in various parts of your Mac (excuse the non-technical language) and gets rid of all them for you. You'll find it here: appcleaner.en.softonic.com/maclink agg

I had no problems on my Mac, but a friend who uses Windows (I don't know which version) said that he had problems until he turned off his Virus protection. Then the installation went perfectly. agg

Maybe I was having a bad day, that time, but I just kept going round in circles on that site. My particular problem (and error message wasn't covered and I needed to talk to a real person. I suggest Helen's friend should just save themselves some frustration and call that number. Angela

Helen I had exactly the same problem, on two different occasions, while trying to download updates. I had a tough time finding the contact information for Adobe but eventually got hold of a technician (both times). They were both very helpful and the problem was solved, although it was time consuming. One of them admitted that it was a problem on the Adobe side, not anything I did, and not my computer. I'm adding the telephone number below. Good luck. I'm sure the problem will be solved satisfactorily. 1-800-833-6687 Angela
