Here is my contribution - a log cabin on the Blue Ridge Parkway. While in "Quick", I used, in layer order, the litho effect and the sketch effect. Sketch layer to "Soft Light" to darken the lines. Merged the layer, duplicated it and moved it to the top. For Part 2 of the challenge, I pasted the wood plank background under the top with an opacity of 40%; added an edge texture (under the top) and changed blend mode to "Multiply" @100%. The last step was to take the upper most merged copy and group it with the edge texture. Maybe this will explain it... Now the picture...

If the computer won't recognize the USB drive, it's very likely gone for good. Unlike a conventional hard drive, a USB is not even heavy enough to make a good paperweight.

I tried Brave but didn't really care for it. It seemed too "uncustomizable" with a limited number of options. I use Vivaldi - have for a few years. It is very reliable, well-behaved and doesn't crash. Here's the link --> vivaldi.com

A challenge, this one, but here's my take... Used CoffeeShop Golden Hour action, a little orton effect, and some "fog" applied with various brushes.

CE #66 Because I live near US Civil War battlefields, I tend to have many photos of the various places. Here is my twist on stacking with thanks to fotofranks stacking action.

Here we are, half-way through the week and no photos. Let me start with this one but ya gotta know it was taken about 10 years, however, it's the only thing I've got that matches the weekly topic. Sorry about the age...

Out and about yesterday. Real wood - an old oak - with a sprig of poison ivy.

I'm glad you decided to add your two images, jim0004 . What I find particularly challenging at a cemetery, and which you seem to have a good eye for, is composition. While the monument in your top image is your obvious subject there seems to be a path of some kind that leads our eye to the trees in the background. The bottom image is presented on a nice diagonal and the tones are beautiful. Would you mind sharing how you achieved the sepia tones? Thank you for the kind words. As for the sepia toning, I did that with Topaz B&W. Jim
