Sepania, I just thought about the same thing: it's very easy to imitate the "single" tools with the Rectangular Marquee. (The tool settings are shown on the attached screenshot.) Switching between the tools is also easy. So, we don't need to alter all the settings every time.

Hi Sydney
No, E+ doesn't enable Single Row / Column Marquee tools.

Just in case someone is missing the Start menu in Win 10: - Discard the (unnecessary) "Metro" tiles from your Start screen - Add the apps you need - Scale the Start screen down

BuckSkin, The Goodies droplet is explained in this video: youtu.be/GQFl_u5gXbEIf you don't need this feature, just move the droplet somewhere else or delete it completely.

Sometimes, PSE shortcuts may get intercepted by the operating system or by some program in background (e.g., a laptop driver) Just a suggestion.

BuckSkin, "As Simple as Photoshop" describes the full Photoshop essentials. In most cases, the same approaches can be applied in PSE as well. However, visually, the things may look very different. The same commands may have different names or can belong to different menus. I'd suggest beginning with E+ video-channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCE_yC51YHoyqjsNTnhWHaVAAlthough all the videos were recorded in PSE 11 and above, some of those are 100% compatible with PSE 7.

Stan, I don't have Bridge CC right now. In Bridge CS6, the file associations can be changed in the Preferences:

I've upgraded to Win 10x64 5 months ago. Haven't encounted any problems so far. PSE 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 run just as always. Nik Collection is ok. Have tested Topaz and some more plug-ins -- without issues.
As for the annoying notification, I believe Microsoft is just following the Apple recipe: force up-to-date version to avoid fragmentation.

BuckSkin, Yes, Grant's Tools and Elements+ can coexist without issues. However, IMO, it doesn't make much sense because -- among many other things -- Elements+ has all the features offered by Grant's Tools (Curves, etc.). BTW, the (free) demo version of Elements+ also includes this basic set of tools as Grant's Tools does: video-books.net/downloads/index.htm#elem+

frizzylee, Please, try the following: - Right-click on a JPEG file and choose "Get Info" - In the "Open with" menu of the "Info" dialog, select "Preview" app - Click "Change All" button to apply the app choice to all JPEGs Hope this helps.

Michel, It seems, to use the latest ACR plug-in we need Photoshop CC. In my case: - "Open with > PSE 14" launches the limited ACR (v. 9,2). - "Open with > Photoshop CS6" launches the older version (v. 9.1.1) - "Open in Camera Raw" displays error message: Perhaps, Photoshop CC trial would solve this. But I haven't tested it so far.
