The key is that you FORMAT the card in YOUR CAMERA after you have downloaded the photos to someplace else. Just leave the unwanted files on the card until after you have downloaded them. In my case - I download onto my photo hard drive (4 TB) and then filter out the bad photos. Then I immediately back up this hard drive onto another external hard drive. Using individual cards as back-ups is a good idea - but for me - I would have too hard of a time keeping track of what files are on what memory card. When you Format the card in your camera - that resets the card and "deletes" the photos. ~bruce.

I find that the panorama stitching in PSE is at times better the Lightroom.

This photo from Seljalandsfoss in Iceland on a no good, very bad weather day. 50+ mile per hour winds along with rain/sleet/hail. This is a series of the progression from beginning to a "workable" end. A lot of time and patience with clone and spot healing brushes then to sharpening, etc. For me - an example of a lost photo - being found. ~bruce. upload host

These falls are unique in that they come out of the side of the hill. Water from above works its way through the ground until it hits harder rock - then comes out the side.

A visit to Iceland will give you many, many waterfalls. We experienced them all the way around the island. The photo pretty much explains why I call it diamond beach! The icebergs from the glacier lagoon head out to see but tides, etc. leave some of these icebergs on the black sand beach to melt and or wait for the next tide.

Thank you for the compliments. Because of the many vistas in Iceland you can get lost in it all. Over 1400 images in 10 days time - at least a few have to turn out

Wife and I took a 10 day trip around the entire country. Experinced everything from sunshine to 50+ mile per hour winds with rain/sleet/hail. If you like waterfalls - the place is like heaven. There is much to see and do all around the island. Could have spent more time at the diamond beach (black sand beach) at the Glacier Lagoon area.

All one has to do is to look at the many variations of Ansel Adam's Moonrise over Hernandez. Over the many years from when he first put the image on a negative (he didn't like the non-positive words of capture, shoot, etc) he printed the photo in many different ways. In fact if you look at the original negative and do a contact print - you wonder how he even did anything with it. Go here: www.kevinshick.com/blog/2013/4/revisiting-hernandez-nmand you can see some of what I mean. And then go to here: www.andrewsmithgallery.com/exhibitions/anseladams/arrington/index.htmland which of the "moonrise's" do you like most? ~bruce.

Wondering what people's pet peeves are when they are out photographing. One of my main ones reared it's ugly head (and bright orange shirt)(see photo) when i was in Iceland. The person had walked around and over fences with signs warning do not cross for safety and regrowth of plant life and plopped themselves down where they would be directly in line with where people usually photograph this falls (Svartifoss). A couple of people shouted for him to move - but he was too into "getting his photo". After 45 minutes he finally moved - very slowly because he had to put all of his camera gear back into a bag before actually moving. So - do you have a "pet peeve"?
