Another nice edit by you, mart44 . Glad to see your different approaches to this cahllenge. Love how you took this out of the city and moved it to an island resort....such a creative approach, kdcintx ! A blank canvas for graffiti artists.....great idea, fotofrank .

2 blasts from the past references here, Jim. For the younger members, this is Jim's connection to the post above.....so impressed that you thought of that for your edit, Jim.

OK....no picture to show for my effort as it was lost on an EHD that died. However, being my "adventure" was a bit different I'll share the story. It was around 8 years ago. We had a significant snow. Sandy Hook where I often go for photography was closed a good part of the day. In late afternoon I got the brilliant idea to go take some pictures. It was bitter cold and the park was pretty much deserted. I told my husband where I was going and that I would call when I got there which I did. The snow was near the top of my knee high boots and there was no one in sight as I trudged along. I knew where I wanted to go but kept thinking that if I fell it would be awhile before anyone found me. I will attach a picture that shows part of the route......my destination was at the very end of the furthest trail in the background of this picture.....and it took awhile to get to where the picture starts. Oh....and my husband was already in the car on his way out to the hook when I finally called him to say I was heading home. It was a beautiful sunset with ice floats on the river....a river with a strong current that never freezes.

Nice job with your additions, Mart! Like the workmen's jackets and that you thought to add the safety cones.

OK....so here's my original background. I was intent on using a picture from Smithville. After reading Clive's comment I thought of another background from a different location that I could try. I think this one may look best, but I do still like the original one I posted. Wasn't sure about having the font in a red tone but black didn't show up.

I had tried stylize a PS extension for a quick try after posting the starter. I liked the "funky" look. Masked in some of the original.

I had lots of fun with it. I guess you did, Lillias! Looks like an illustration from a children's book. Great edit. Funky edit, Sepiana. I actually went with a funky look as well.

I like the old "barnwood" background and would prefer that the entire background was just the wood boards. Well that will be easy enough to do as I actually saved my layers this time anticipating some suggestions. I did have a plain board background but couldn't get it to "look right". I changed it to the one you see above for the reason Janice stated. When I come back on later I will share my original background plus another one that your comment has inspired me to try.

Some very creative edits last week. Seems there may be some opportunities for creativity on this city block. Image from RawPixels
