I saw this Fine Fish Face while walking along by the Thames in London yesterday.

This Thameside pub obligingly provided me with an "F". More to follow, hopefully, if they turn out OK.

What a great start to the theme! A wonderful shot of the birds and alliteration to go with it! That's got to be a winner. You've set the bar very high. Dennis

Injection of Energy into weary walkers - the leader surprised everybody by producing home-made flapjacks at the water-stop.
They helped brighten a gloomy morning!

These power lines carry 275,000 volts - that's energy!

Billie Jean, what a lovely picture of the slumbering dog and cat! They are obviously good pals and looked so peaceful, it made us smile. You have brightened a cold morning. A great take on the opposite of energy. Dennis and Brenda

Seasonal gingerbread village displayed on the QM2 for Christmas. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to eat any of it.
Many thanks, Sepiana, for yet another of your varied and interesting themes.

This has to be the most unusual "D" to be featured in this week's theme - a Dinosaur which lives in Crystal Palace Park in south London. He is only one of quite a few specimens scattered around the lake there. Some of them were encased in scaffolding for renovation, so this seemed the fiercest of those left.

These gates lead to sunshine, open air and greenery....
In contrast, these are the gates of Wandsworth Prison which lead you inside and take away your freedom.

To start the ball rolling on this week's theme, these are the gates of Carew Manor, formerly our local stately home but today a school for children with special needs.

A temporary bus route - there must be Road Works going on somewhere here in south London.
